When it comes to the food itself, the quality was exceptional. Every meal was not only delicious but also beautifully presented, with a clear focus on freshness and detail. Ingredients were freshly sourced, dishes that required longer preparation were thoughtfully started well in advance, and everything was finished and cooked at exactly the right time for dinner. The balance between flavor, freshness, and presentation was outstanding. We were staying in a beautiful villa overlooking the lake, and having a private chef elevated the entire experience. There was simply no restaurant that could compare to enjoying incredible food in that setting — no driving, no stress, the freedom to relax, enjoy a drink, and eat exactly what we wanted, when we wanted it. In our view, if you’re staying in a house around Queenstown, hiring a chef is absolutely the best way to go.
